I’m passionate about Community. It takes all parts and every level of government, leadership, schools and worship places to work effectively. It’s the responsibility of adults within our communities, both large and small, to create successful safe spaces in which we can ALL thrive.
The protection, empowerment, and fruition of youth is what keeps me moving forward.
Combining a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with professional experience in computer and pharmaceutical sales, teaching, mortgage lending, songwriting and performance, I have fused unique and provable approaches to very serious topics needing attention: trauma and child abuse prevention. Louisvillian for 25 years and dedicated to change the #1 position KY holds in child maltreatment and death.
Proven strategies in facilitation work wonders for public health safety when we can all agree on at least ONE thing: children need protection from abuse, something I know well after having educated and trained over 20,000 children and adults in the past 5 years.
Telling a story is a profound way to communicate and educate, particularly an uncomfortable topic situation, or simply convey a message or sentiment.
